United in Prayer Day 2018: Cambridge
You are warmly invited to celebrate this 26th annual Contemplative Outreach worldwide day of prayer with us in Cambridge where we join with WCCM for the afternoon. There will be silent prayer for the healing of violence followed by music, poetry readings and reflections then tea and finally lectio divina. Please bring a small offering to share for tea. There is no charge but a collection will be taken for children in Syria.

Centering Prayer, Alexander technique and the Law of Three. Led by Jackie Evans, Jill Benet and Antonio Benet. This unique experience, described as “marvelous and inspiring†by a past participant, will offer an opportunity to see the complementary nature of the relationship between mind, body and spirit in the evolution of consciousness. On this Retreat we shall be exploring the gift of life in all its phases, even those of diminishment and death, as phases of evolution and transformation through Christ, using the DVD series with Thomas Keating OCSO. Led by Jacqueline Evans and Sister Anne Dunne. Alexander Technique lets me discover and let go of tensions and resistance that hold me back from being open and available to the Ultimate Reality. This retreat offers techniques for quietening the nervous system and calming the breath during Centering Prayer, as well as how to carry the openness of meditation into life away from the prayer mat.
