Centering Prayer, the Law of Three, and Alexander technique.
Led by Jill Benet, Antonio Benet and Jacqueline Evans.
In this retreat, we will be looking at how we can join fully in the dance of creation. We will offer practices for body, mind and spirit to help us join the flow towards being one with the Unknowable.
We will work with four practices: the Law of Three enables us to see more clearly the dynamic flow of creation, Centering Prayer and Welcome Practice reveal our hidden motivations, and Alexander Technique teaches us how to release tensions in our body and resistance in our patterns of thinking.
The days will follow a rhythm of extended periods of Centering Prayer/meditation, study sessions, and experimentation with the embodying principles of Alexander. There will be opportunities for sharing, discussion and simple contemplative liturgy. Time outside of sessions will be mostly held in silence, with ample time for private reflection.
