Liturgy of the Anointing at Bethany

Every year at the Convent of Mercy as part of holy week we celebrate the Anointing at Bethany Liturgy.
The liturgy is an arrangement of words and chants brought together by Cynthia Bourgeault reflecting the the gathering at Bethany prior to the passion and death of Jesus.

If you would like to join us you will be very welcome; please advise Jill Benet that you intend to come.

We start the evening promptly at 7.30 with the reading of the "farewell discourses" from the Gospel of John.
This is followed by the liturgy itself.
