DESCRIPTION:An 8-day Intensive Centering Prayer Retreat led by Jill Benet.\nIntensive Retreats are an opportunity to immerse oneself fully in the method and background of Centering Prayer as taught by Contemplative Outreach.  There will be up to three hours of Centering Prayer each day\, and the time outside meetings is in silence. There will be time for personal reflection\, contemplative liturgy and Lectio Divina.   \n\nWe shall draw on the last video teaching series\, That We May Be One. To complement this\, we shall read some of Fr Thomas Keating’s poetry\, guided by the work of Cynthia Bourgeault\, as well our inner responses. \n\nThe retreat is suitable for those who have established or are establishing the practice of Centering Prayer and have ideally attended an Introductory Workshop. \n\nArrive in time for supper at 6pm on Sunday 6/2 and depart after breakfast on Sunday 13/2. \n
