Sometimes called “consent on the go” the Welcome Prayer, as described by Rev Dr. Cynthia Bourgeault, “is a powerful path for connecting the inner consent of Centering Prayer with the outer requirement of unconditional presence in daily life”. We will introduce the method of the Welcome Prayer as well as have additional time to practise. There will also be extended periods of Centering Prayer and Silence.

Celebrate this 26th annual Contemplative Outreach worldwide day of prayer with us in London at Nazareth House, Hammersmith. The day is dedicated to healing violence. Refreshments provided. You are warmly invited to celebrate this 26th annual Contemplative Outreach worldwide day of prayer with us in Cambridge where we join with WCCM for the afternoon. There will be silent prayer for the healing of violence followed by music, poetry readings and reflections then tea and finally lectio divina. Please bring a small offering to share for tea. There is no charge but a collection will be taken for children in Syria.
